In his vividly colorful abstract landscape oil paintings, Bailey looks at the natural environment, interpreting the beauty of his Hoopa Valley homeland in northern California and Indian lands in Oregon and New Mexico.
Many of these paintings were part of the Hallie Ford Millennium show in 2000. They can be seen today in Don Bailey';s studio in Portland, Oregon.
